As a Database Developer, your role involves developing databases based on project specifications and statement of problem and procedures. You will create or modify computer database programs by applying your knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

Planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to safeguard computer databases.
Coordinating changes to computer databases, testing, and implementing the database using your knowledge of database management systems.
Preparing or receiving Database Analyst flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate a sequence of steps the program must follow and describe logical operations involved.

To excel in this role, you should have knowledge and skillsets in Oracle, DB2, Sybase, ADABAS, SQL Server, Informix, Linux, and decision support systems such as COGNOS and BOA.
