Job Description
As a Trade Lifecycle Manager II at JPMorganChase, you will be responsible for managing the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your expertise in trade lifecycle management will be crucial in ensuring all trades are processed on respective platforms and coordinating cash movements in and out of client accounts. You will utilize your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions for varied and complex issues while ensuring compliance with technical standards and organizational policies. Your role will involve liaising with multiple departments, managing projects, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives. Your ability to influence, coupled with your market product knowledge and data & tech literacy, will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with technology teams to obtain data requirements documents, identify solutions, conduct end-to-end testing, and reconciliation
- Provide support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and interpreting data
- Conduct detailed business analysis involving complex requirements and processes, and present results to various stakeholders
- Understand complex business requirements and provide solutions for operating models and implementation options
- Manage different complex stakeholder maps including senior stakeholders in Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Compliance
- Utilize strong diagnostic skills to drive requirements and issue resolution recommendations using objective data
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of systems and business processes used in Front, Mid, and Back-office functions within Investment Services
- Apply strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of transaction lifecycle in Custody and/or subject matter expertise in Hedge Funds and Mutual Funds
- Understand trade life cycle and have a background in reconciliations, with client onboarding experience being a plus
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in complex program management or strategy implementation within a financial services or operations environment
- In-depth knowledge of Asset Management or Investment management products, services, market instruments, and conventions
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, owning issues impacting client experience, and seeing them through to closure
