Staff Software Architect

As a Staff Software Architect at Trimble, your role involves architecting and designing cutting edge enterprise backend services for digital transformation. You will lead the design of complex, multi-region, and highly available distributed systems. Qualifications & Experience: - 10 years of experience in software engineering or systems architecture, with a focus on large-scale cloud environments. - Deep knowledge of cloud primitives, orchestration, and event-driven patterns. - Mastery of Infrastructure as Code tools at an enterprise scale. - Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Skill Set: - Proficiency in backend development, OOAD, and Design Patterns. - Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, .NET, or Go. - Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Exposure to building API-based cloud services/applications. - Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and experience in agile practices. Good to have: - Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React. - Contributions to Open Source cloud-native projects. - Understanding of Compliance Frameworks within cloud environments. - Certification/Experience in AWS/Azure cloud resources.
