Job Description
You will be responsible for supporting globally based users of various financial applications and maintaining these applications to meet the evolving business needs of the finance organization. Your role will involve assisting in monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting close activities, resolving user/application issues promptly, and developing dashboards related to financial close processes. Additionally, you will be required to write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in timely execution of accounting close activities
- Support day-to-day operations for financial applications
- Identify and resolve data/system issues
- Report unresolved issues to IT
- Develop financial dashboards
- Understand business needs and develop necessary reports
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in financial systems, accounting, or related fields
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science/Management Information Systems preferred
- Experience in roles involving communication between business units and IT
- Strong passion for technology and high business acumen
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong customer service mindset
- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion, PowerBI, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
