Senior Data Science & Operations Research Consultant

As a Data Science and Operations Research (DSOR) Enablement III, your role involves contributing to the integration of advanced analytics and operations research methodologies within the organization. You will work with cross functional teams to optimize business processes and decision-making by implementing data-driven solutions aligned with organizational objectives. Your expertise in both business operations and technical methodologies will be crucial in delivering useful insights and solutions while supporting and sharing technical knowledge with DSOR practitioners. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the development and implementation of the DSOR Enablement function, contributing to strategic initiatives. - Supporting DSOR initiatives by promoting data-driven solutions that enhance business processes. - Providing support and setting priorities for DSOR projects, ensuring effective execution from hypothesis to deliverable. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement. - Supporting the design of user-centric products aligning with business goals to enhance decision-making. - Clearly communicating DSOR concepts to stakeholders to align with enterprise objectives. - Monitoring project progress, supporting accountability for project milestones, and contributing to impactful solutions. - Assisting in the development and dissemination of best practices for the DSOR discipline. Minimum Education: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related discipline. (Advanced degree preferred.) Minimum Experience: - Three to four (3 - 4) years of experience working with teams in analytics, data science, operations research, engineering, or a related field, with demonstrated leadership in managing teams and executing complex projects. - Practitioner or practitioner-adjacent experience in analytics, data science, operations research, or related fields inclusive of prototyping and rapid experimentation.
