As part of the Quality Engineering team for E-commerce applications at McAfee, your role will involve ensuring the functional accuracy, performance, and stability of the E-commerce platform. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Architecture teams to deliver secure, user-friendly, and high-performing customer experiences. This is a hybrid position based in Bangalore, India, where you will be required to be on-site 2 to 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work from your home office on other days. - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI and API testing to ensure scalable, reliable, and reusable test systems. - Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to clarify requirements, identify defects early, drive root cause analysis, and ensure high-quality releases. - Enhance quality processes by improving test coverage, strengthening CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring adherence to Agile/Scrum practices. - Take ownership of product quality, proactively identify risks, improve automation efficiency, and ensure flawless performance of E-commerce workflows at scale. To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with 8-10 years of experience in leading automation and quality validation for E-commerce applications. You must have strong skills in Java, Selenium, and API testing, along with exposure to .NET, Node.js, SQL, and PostgreSQL. Experience with the Karate tool is advantageous. Hands-on experience in the E-commerce domain is essential to understand complex workflows and ensure high-quality customer-facing releases. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with remote teams while reporting to a Senior Manager or Director.
