Role Overview: At Kyndryl, we are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team of talented Technical Specialists. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting Kyndryl's customers computer systems and networks from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. You will also have the opportunity to implement new cybersecurity systems and policies, monitor potential threats, conduct proof-of-concepts with new cybersecurity software, and provide automation scripts for threat hunting. Key Responsibilities: - Defend against a wide range of cyber threats such as malware, ransomware, phishing attacks, and data breaches - Implement new cybersecurity systems and policies to ensure the protection of customers data and assets - Monitor and review potential threats from various cybersecurity systems - Conduct proof-of-concepts with new cybersecurity software to evaluate effectiveness and potential integration - Provide automation scripts for threat hunting in customer environments - Conduct penetration testing and threat and vulnerability assessments - Research and evaluate cybersecurity threats, perform root cause analysis, and assist in the creation and implementation of security solutions - Work in the area of security innovation, experimenting with new ideas in cyber security Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity field - Expertise in network routing, switching, troubleshooting, engineering, load balancing, virtual private networks - Proficiency in cloud computing, security architecture, hybrid and multi-cloud computing, various cloud-based systems and services - Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, application security, penetration testing, encryption, threat modeling, identity and access management, secure coding - Good knowledge of incident response, security operations, vulnerability management, IT security architecture, risk management, cyber threat hunting, cybersecurity standards Note: The job description contains information about Kyndryl's inclusive culture and employee feedback.
