DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at Indygen.ai, you will play a crucial role in automating and optimizing development and production environments, ensuring seamless deployment pipelines. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing software integrations, developing automation tools, collaborating with team members to enhance engineering tools and systems, and conducting systems tests for security and performance. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement software integrations based on user feedback. - Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines). - Collaborate with team members to improve engineering tools, systems, procedures, and data security. - Optimize the companys computing architecture. - Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability. - Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a relevant field. - 2-3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. - Proficient with git and git workflows. - Good knowledge of Ruby or Python. - Working knowledge of databases and SQL. - Problem-solving attitude. - Collaborative team spirit. Technical Expertise: - Strong experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI. - Proficiency in Docker, including image creation, management, and deployment. - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. - Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. - Knowledge of various cloud service providers, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar. - Understanding of network principles and protocols, security, firewalls, and load balancers. Additional Requirements: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving, growing, and agile environment. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Willingness to update personal IT skills continuously. - Ability to document and troubleshoot errors. - Experience with agile development methodologies.
