Role Overview:
You will be responsible for achieving sales targets of the company's services within a defined geographic area in the US. This includes building customer relations, pipeline management, liaison with clients and delivery teams for ongoing and prospective business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve Sales Targets: You will be directly responsible for achieving the sales targets in Biologics for the assigned territory. This involves detailed and accurate sales forecasting, building pipeline, and budgeting for the overall territory/services.
- Represent the Company: Attend conferences, trade fairs, networking events, and professional meetings to drive sales achievement, pipeline building, and customer relationship building.
- Build a Network: Create and leverage a network of contacts in the territory to identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand existing business.
- Analyze Customer Requirements: Assess customer requirements and determine the suitability of the company's offerings to pitch for sales effectively.
- Deliver Presentations: Develop and deliver powerful presentations tailored to clients to win business deals.
- Manage Sales Operations: Work with the manager to develop and execute territory plans to achieve sales goals. Coordinate with internal functions like Scientific, Proposals, Marketing, SCM, and HR to ensure sales objectives are met.
- Client Relationship: Engage with clients, cultivate business relationships with key decision-makers, manage customer expectations, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Travel Requirements: Be prepared to travel to the US at least once per quarter for a minimum of 2 weeks for business purposes.
Qualifications Required:
- Academic Qualifications: A Master's Degree in Life Sciences education (biology, biotech, microbiology, etc.) would be beneficial.
- Experience: You should have at least 6 years of Business Development experience in CDMO, Biologics, with a focus on selling biologics services such as Antibodies, CMC, etc.
