Job Description

As a Full Stack Web Developer at MaterialBuy, you will be a key member of the development team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our customer-facing e-commerce platform and internal tools. Your role will involve working with both front-end and back-end technologies in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize MaterialBuys e-commerce platform (front-end and back-end).
Design and implement responsive UI/UX for web applications.
Build APIs and integrate third-party APIs for payments, logistics, CRM, etc.
Collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams to implement new features and enhancements.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Identify performance issues and bugs, and devise solutions to address them.
Collaborate with SEO and digital marketing teams to optimize site performance and user experience.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Monitor website uptime, load speeds, and provide technical support when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React.js/Vue.js.
Strong back-end experience using Node.js, Express.js, or PHP/Laravel.
Experience with databases: MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub).
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Working knowledge of e-commerce architecture and platforms.
Understanding of SEO basics, website security, and performance optimization.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with AWS, Firebase, or other cloud platforms.
Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or headless CMS.
Knowledge of UI/UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD.
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
