Job Description
You are seeking a highly creative UI/UX & Motion Designer with expertise in Figma and skills in motion design, interaction design, and visual communication. This role is ideal for transforming static interfaces into dynamic, engaging digital experiences through animation and interactive design. The successful candidate will design motion-enhanced UI components, microinteractions, and animated feedback systems that improve usability, clarity, and engagement while aligning with established design systems and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and animate UI components, microinteractions, and motion behaviors to enhance usability and user engagement.
- Build high-fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma, including animated flows and transitions.
- Create motion assets using Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Adobe Animate, and export production-ready animations (e.g., Lottie JSON via Bodymovin).
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX designers to ensure accurate implementation and smooth asset handoff.
- Develop and maintain motion design guidelines for consistency across design system components.
- Translate static interface designs into intuitive, behavior-driven interactive experiences.
- Optimize animations for performance across devices and platforms.
- Prepare clear documentation for engineering teams, including timing, easing, interaction states, and export specifications.
Qualifications Required:
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, interactive prototyping, and design system workflows.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating motion design for digital products and user interfaces.
- Expertise in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Adobe Animate, and Lottie/Bodymovin workflows.
- Solid foundation in graphic design principles (layout, typography, color, visual hierarchy).
- Strong understanding of interaction design and motion theory (timing, easing, anticipation, hierarchy).
- Experience designing motion that supports user flows, transitions, and system feedback.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to balance creative innovation with technical feasibility.
- Awareness of accessibility considerations related to motion and interaction.
