Testing (API)

You are a QA for API testing, responsible for reviewing requirements, design specifications, or stories to provide timely feedback. You will independently create detailed test plans and test cases, working on improving features by testing them in an agile development strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Analyzing middle tier technology problem-solving skills and testing using REST API web services. - Raising bugs in JIRA and driving defect triage calls. - Collaborating with testing, developers, and architects on collecting requirements payloads data for service testing and service virtualization. - Understanding STUB/Service virtualization. - Using API testing tools like POSTMAN, Rest Client, Anypoint, etc. - Hands-on experience with REST ASSURED/JUnit framework for API testing. - Proficiency in a Java IDE (e.g., Eclipse) and tools like GIT, JIRA. - Good understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE) and its workings. - Familiarity with HTTP, JSON protocol, and syntax. - Understanding of Message Schema, RAML, Message Request-Response mechanism. - Working experience in Agile methodology/SAFe with in-sprint automation. - Exposure to Product Testing. - Knowledge of Test Management tools. - Understanding of complete STLC.
