Job Description
Role Overview:
You will work within the Financial Services Global Center of Excellence as a Tech Lead, playing a lead role in developing and managing the Customer & Dealers Experience Center of Excellence across APAC. Your main focus will be on financial services retail loan and lease receivables, originations, and reporting systems, with an emphasis on front-end applications. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards in developing and enhancing existing business processes and platforms, as well as ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Software and QA Engineers, providing technical guidance and development support.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Collaborate with Business Process and Product Owners to develop detailed techno-functional requirements, translating business functional requirements into technical requirements.
- Communicate progress with business process owners and IT Management, facilitating prioritization of activities and defects.
- Drive adoption of best practices in software development, DevOps, and quality assurance.
- Manage project delivery, including planning, prioritization, and resource allocation for development and DevOps initiatives.
- Enhance documentation for system information sharing across regions.
- Act as a full-stack development expert, ensuring consistency of information to business organizations.
- Develop and manage business reporting projects throughout the complete life cycle.
- Review test requirements, define test plans, and execute testing to deliver error-free solutions.
- Analyze and resolve existing reporting problems, continually emphasizing improvement.
Qualifications Required:
- At least 12+ years of relevant experience in software development, DevOps, and team leadership roles.
- Deep knowledge and experience in C# in .NET, entity framework, and/or understanding of JSON API payload.
- Experience with single page web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
- Good knowledge of ADO.NET, .NET 8 core, Angular programming.
- Ability to run advanced level SQL queries.
- Knowledge of BI tools like Databricks, PowerBI, Crystal Reports, and automation tools such as Power Apps.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud computing, Azure PaaS environment, and IT function of Financial Services organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a diverse company and communicate effectively on an international platform.
- Experience in project execution, agile/waterfall methodology, software quality, and process.
