Job Description

You will play a crucial role as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Giggso, a US-based AIOps / MLOps platform. Your main responsibilities will include scaling teams in India and the United States, focusing on navigating US staffing complexities and ensuring compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Global Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting (India & US): - End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the entire technical recruitment lifecycle for various roles such as Software Engineers, DevOps, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and AI/ML Specialists. This includes handling initial job briefs, offer negotiations, and onboarding. - Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement diverse sourcing strategies using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized job boards, social media, and internal referrals to build a strong candidate pipeline in both countries. - Exceptional Candidate Experience: Represent Giggso and provide candidates with a positive, transparent, and engaging experience that reflects the startup culture and values. - Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with hiring managers in India and the US, define role requirements, manage recruitment expectations, and provide regular updates on hiring progress. - US Staffing & Employment Compliance: - US Employment Expertise: Stay updated on US employment types (W2, 1099, C2C), understanding legal, tax, and contractual implications for onshore and offshore hiring. - Compliance Integration: Ensure all US-based recruitment processes adhere to relevant labor laws and compliance requirements. - Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with candidates and staffing vendors on contracts, rates, and benefits, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with Giggsos compensation structure. - Vendor Management & Staffing Operations: - Global Vendor Strategy: Identify, vet, and onboard external staffing agencies and vendors specializing in niche US and India IT talent. - Performance & SLA Management: Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for vendors, reporting performance to stakeholders. - Cost Control: Negotiate placement fees, conversion rates, and contractual terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to the recruitment budget. - Process Optimization: Standardize and streamline the vendor submission and tracking process across regions, maintaining an organized vendor management database. Qualifications & Skills: - Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive technical IT recruitment experience, preferably in a high-growth startup or fast-paced tech environment. - US Staffing Mandate: Hands-on experience and knowledge of US staffing requirements, employment classifications, and compliance nuances. - Vendor Management: At least 1 year of experience managing external staffing agencies. - Communication & Influence: Strong verbal and written communication skills to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and negotiate effectively. - Education: Masters degree in Human Resources (Full-time program is mandatory).
