Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Network Administrator at Lexitas India Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Lexitas Network Infrastructure systems, encompassing networks, cloud connectivity, security, communications, and related areas. Your role will involve ensuring system availability and reliability, maintaining a secure environment, engaging in network troubleshooting activities, and contributing to the development and implementation of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans. Additionally, you will be required to maintain network procedures, documentation, and comply with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure systems availability and reliability, including network, email, servers, and backups
- Maintain a secure environment through network security tools and settings, email security tools and settings, IDS/IDP tools and settings, and other security solutions
- Engage in regular network troubleshooting activities to resolve connectivity issues
- Monitor and analyze network performance, troubleshoot network problems, and escalate issues as needed
- Develop, test, and implement Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans
- Safeguard confidentiality of medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide guidance, leadership, and mentorship to support staff
- Demonstrate the company values of SPIRIT in all activities
Qualifications Required:
- Expertise in Network Infrastructure tools and systems such as Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
- Knowledge of computer networking and security concepts
- Understanding of network infrastructures running IP telephony and QoS
- Familiarity with Cisco Systems routing, security, and switching equipment
- Proficiency in firewall, VPN, security concepts, and telecommunication technologies
- Experience with Active Directory, IIS, DNS, and DHCP
- Understanding of data center operations and cloud-based solutions like MS Azure and AWS
- Ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
- 5 or more years of experience in network infrastructure administration
- Experience in a multi-function, multi-geography workplace is advantageous
- Proven track record in managing network equipment and completing complex projects independently
- Effective problem-solving skills and commitment to safe work practices Role Overview:
