As a Senior Associate in the Finance department at Branch, your role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting activities with a focus on compliance with IndAs accounting standards, monthly book closure, audits, and collaboration with multiple teams to drive legal operations and compliance culture. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your accounting skills in a dynamic and diverse environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in and independently handle corporate accounting activities, including monthly and period-end book closures
- Ensure accounting and reporting align with applicable accounting standards (Ind-AS / IGAAP)
- Prepare and maintain working papers, schedules, and reconciliations for financial reporting and audits
- Support statutory, internal, and tax audits, including responding to auditor queries
- Work on process improvements, documentation, and standardization of accounting workflows
- Maintain appropriate controls and checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and auditors
- Utilize working knowledge of ERP systems like NetSuite or SAP
- Demonstrate strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
**Qualifications Required:**
- Chartered Accountant (24 years of experience) or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (46 years of experience)
- Experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting
- Prior experience in the NBFC / financial services sector is advantageous
- Exposure to Big4 or mid-size CA firms is preferred
- Experience in a process-driven or growing organization is beneficial
