SRE Architect - Data & Cyber Security

As an SRE Architect at our USA HQ well-funded Startup, you will be involved in setting up the SRE Practice in Bangalore, India, focusing on Data Security & Cyber Security domain. With 8+ years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-availability, fault-tolerant, scalable, resilient, and distributed systems. Your responsibilities will include working on AWS cloud computing infrastructure, containerization, container & cluster management (Kubernetes, Docker, EKS), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform). You will also have hands-on experience with large-scale infrastructure handling, including Package management, EC2, SQS, S3, MongoDB, and Distributed systems like Kafka, Yarn, Elastic Search. Familiarity with container orchestration tools, source code management, and security best practices will be essential. Additionally, you should be proficient in languages like Python, Java, or Go and adept at analyzing App bottlenecks and implementing automated tools for anomaly detection. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, architect, and implement best-in-class CI/CD pipelines. - Accountable for infrastructure design, automation, stability, resilience, performance, monitoring, security, and implementation of best practices. - Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance the development/production environment. - Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform. - Containerize and orchestrate with K8S to drive micro-services adoption. - Develop functional KPIs for services, incidents, and infrastructure metrics. - Identify and track metrics like MTTR to exceed SLA expectations. - Monitor system availability, latency, and reliability at scale with Prometheus and TICK stack. - Assist in defining the cloud data strategy and designing implementation roadmaps.
