Job Description
Role Overview:
You will be a part of the Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) organization at Standard Chartered Bank, responsible for protecting and ensuring the resilience of the bank's data and IT systems. Reporting directly to the Group Chief Technology, Operations and Transformation Officer, you will play a critical role in managing information and cyber security risks across the enterprise. Your primary responsibility will be to assure that ICS controls are effectively implemented in alignment with the ICS Risk Framework, Policy, and Standards, while fostering a culture of cybersecurity within the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Country CISOs, ISRO, CISRO, and ICS/TTO representatives to ensure timely compliance with the bank's ICS regulatory obligations.
- Complete regulatory compliance assessments and assist all SCB regions in meeting critical and complex ICS regulatory requirements.
- Oversee all ICS regulatory compliance assessment activities, support issue remediations, and ensure timely submission to regulators.
- Utilize technical ICS domain knowledge and SME skills in regulatory compliance assessments, audit, risk & control, and demonstrate strong senior stakeholder management abilities.
- Identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies across processes, systems, and infrastructure regularly.
People & Talent Management:
- Work collaboratively with CISO, risk, and control partners to embed a culture of risk awareness and good conduct.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation culture while supporting diversity and inclusion within the team.
Risk Management:
- Collaborate with AIC LRM cluster leads to promote an effective risk management culture and compliance mindset.
- Enhance the bank's capability to proactively identify and manage cyber threats through quality compliance assessments.
Governance:
- Track and ensure timely completion of ICS regulatory compliance assessments and meet all governance metrics.
- Provide oversight and follow-up for the resolution of high-impact risks and issues.
Regulatory & Business Conduct:
- Demonstrate exemplary conduct in line with the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
- Collaborate effectively to identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Management, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM are advantageous.
