Role Overview:
You will be joining the compliance team as a Compliance Officer / Senior Compliance Officer in a detail-oriented and proactive role. Your main responsibility will be managing and ensuring timely collection, verification, and compliance of professional documentation for healthcare professionals working within the NHS, UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, verify, and maintain compliance documents from healthcare professionals (Nurses, Doctors, Allied Health Staff) working in the NHS.
- Review and chase pending documentation such as professional licenses, right-to-work proofs, training certificates, vaccination records, and background checks.
- Ensure all documents meet NHS and recruitment framework standards (e.g., NHS Employers, Framework Compliance).
- Communicate effectively with candidates and internal teams to ensure timely submission and verification of all required documents.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal compliance databases/systems.
- Escalate non-compliance issues promptly and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Support audits by preparing and providing necessary compliance reports and documentation.
- Stay up to date with UK healthcare compliance and NHS framework requirements.
Qualification Required:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-3+ years of experience in compliance, document verification, or recruitment (preferably in healthcare or NHS domain).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency with MS Office and compliance tracking systems/CRMs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of NHS compliance standards will be an advantage.
