SQL Database Administrator / DBA / HYBRID WORKING

As a SQL DBA at GlobalLogic, you will be responsible for the following:

Role Overview:

You will be expected to have a strong knowledge of SQL & T-SQL, experience with database backup/restore, performance tuning expertise, knowledge of Windows Server, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure SQL Server / other RDBMS
• Set up database environments (Dev, Test, Production)
• Monitor database performance and health
• Perform backups and recovery operations
• Manage storage and capacity planning
• Implement data encryption and security policies
• Configure replication, clustering, log shipping
• Implement Always On (for SQL Server)
• Resolve database-related issues

Qualifications Required:

• Strong knowledge of SQL & T-SQL
• Experience with database backup/restore
• Performance tuning expertise
• Knowledge of Windows Server
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS)
