Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting an integrated analytical approach to mine data sources, manage data effectively, employ statistical methods, and machine learning algorithms to contribute to solving unmet medical needs, discover actionable insights, and automate processes for reducing effort and time for repeated use. Additionally, you will provide data science and quantitative analytical support by ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality reports and building capabilities to leverage the Science of data. Key Responsibilities: - Translate business questions into analytical problems and build solutions using visualization techniques, machine and deep learning, and statistical modeling. - Search and develop data management techniques, new algorithms, methods, statistical models, and business models to provide insight into structured and unstructured data. - Quickly learn and pilot the use of tools, data sources, and analytical techniques needed to answer a wide range of critical business questions and improve the status quo. - Identify research articles and reproduce/apply innovative methodology to Novartis business problems. - Provide understandable and actionable business intelligence for key stakeholders. - Develop new quantitative methods to improve processes in various projects and create new analysis opportunities by integrating existing and new data sources. - Support various projects of limited scope. - Report technical complaints, adverse events, and special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt. - Distribute marketing samples where applicable. - Ensure a healthy and safe workplace by complying with Novartis HSE and ISEC standards, implementing measures, providing training and resources, supporting employee well-being, investigating incidents, and collaborating with HSE teams to maintain a safe environment while adhering to quality, ethical, health, safety, and environmental requirements. Qualification Required: - Work experience of 2+ years in Data Science.
