Job Description
As a Procurement Manager, your role involves leading and directing all activities of the purchasing process chain. This includes collaborating with specialist departments, negotiating pricing and terms & conditions, and proactively supporting internal customers. You will be responsible for developing commodity-related procurement strategies through sourcing and partnering with the business. In addition, you will perform cost/price negotiations using cost/price analysis techniques.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Organizing and directing activities in accordance with existing local market and Company Group rules and regulations
- Utilizing Company international Group contracts and purchasing tools for continuous improvement of the procurement process
- Issuing frame contracts with vendors for items with repeated purchases
- Managing contractual and commercial issues in collaboration with finance and specialist departments
- Defining specific requirements of commodities in coordination with specialist departments
- Soliciting and evaluating bids and quotations from suppliers, leading negotiations, and preparing recommendations for management
- Investigating and analyzing the local and international supplier market for the 'best source'
- Developing and coordinating supplier development, continuous supplier quality, and performance improvement
- Ensuring compliant documentation according to Company Group guidelines
In addition to these responsibilities, it is essential to have skills in Inventory Control, Negotiation Skills, Market Analysis, Cost Reduction, Supplier Management, and Contract Management.
With 8-10 years of experience in procurement, you are expected to bring a wealth of expertise to this role and drive the procurement function towards operational excellence.
