Job Description

You will be part of an outstanding technical pre-sales team in Cisco's Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO), where your main focus will be on protecting Customer Application Environments across on-prem and cloud platforms. The mission of the team is to democratize security by making it easy and effective for everyone. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide mentorship and assist account teams in building solutions to address specific customer security needs. - Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Compose, present, and detail technical solutions to customers, partners, and prospects. - Lead technical consulting and upper-level management presentations. - Drive major account opportunities while enabling local account teams to maintain long-term ownership. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 5 years of technical sales or pre-sales experience with 3+ years in Security specialization in Network Security and technologies including NGFW/NGIPS, Network Analytics, Content & Cloud Security (i.e. Email, Web, Anti-Spam, DNS security, CASB, SASE, SSE), Sophisticated Threat Solutions, and Endpoint Security. - Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. - Proven track record of successful quota achievement. - Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and standard methodologies. - Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are preferred. **Additional Details of the Company:** At Cisco, the company is revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era and beyond.
