Software Tester

You are an experienced software tester with strong functional and partial automation testing capabilities. Your hands-on exposure includes fintech/banking domain testing, focusing on high-end security, compliance, and performance validations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications (React Web & Flutter Mobile). - Creating detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and traceability matrices. - Conducting functional, regression, integration, UAT, UI/UX, smoke, and sanity testing. - Executing REST API testing using tools like Postman/Swagger/JMeter. - Working on automation test scripting (Selenium / Appium / Playwright preferred). - Validating banking/fintech transaction systems, including reconciliation, settlements, and financial data validation. - Performing security and compliance testing, including authentication flows, access control, data encryption checkpoints, vulnerability assessment support, PCI DSS-aligned testing, etc. - Executing performance and load testing for financial systems handling high transaction volumes. - Collaborating with product, QA, developers, and support teams to resolve defects and improve product quality. - Maintaining bug tracking using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. - Ensuring documentation, reporting, RCA, and quality metrics. Your required skills will include: - Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Experience testing web & mobile applications. - Good experience in API testing (Postman / JMeter). - Practical knowledge in test automation frameworks (Selenium / Appium / Playwright / Cypress). - Experience in database/SQL testing. - Fintech/banking domain exposure, preferably in AEPS, UPI, RuPay, BBPS, IMPS, NEFT, Wallets, etc. - Knowledge of high-end security testing concepts such as two-factor authentication, OTP flows, token-based AUTH (JWT/OAuth), data masking, encryption, PCI DSS basics, application vulnerability awareness (OWASP Top-10, API security), and understanding of financial transaction logs, settlements & reconciliation testing. It would be good to have experience using Charles Proxy, Postman scripts, JMeter, or automation CI pipelines, experience in production monitoring/release testing, and exposure to cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure) automation pipeline. Your soft skills should include strong analytical & problem-solving skills, excellent documentation and communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments. You should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or a related field.
