Software Team Lead - Front End

As a Lead Software Engineer I at Cepheid, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and implementing next-generation software products for molecular diagnostics. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining molecular diagnostics application software using Java, Angular, and associated development frameworks.
• Developing and maintaining automated unit, component, and system-level test suites to ensure end-to-end software quality.
• Executing Agile lean software development processes to deliver software features and project milestones, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Adopting and applying new development tools, technologies, and methodologies to support scalable software implementation and assigned engineering tasks.

Qualifications required for this role include:

• An engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 6 years of full-stack development experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on development experience using Java for back-end applications.
• Front-end development experience using Angular 2+ for web application interfaces.
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Design and implementation using established design patterns.
• Proven experience in developing full-stack applications using Java, Angular 2+, and OOD principles.

Additionally, it would be advantageous if you have previous experience in:

• Being an AWS certified developer.
• Utilizing AI to enhance operational performance.
• Working with distributed teams in a global setting.
