About the Role: As a Software Engineering Lead & Solution Architect at EOS, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of EOS platform, a web and mobile health management platform. This senior, hands-on role requires someone who can define architecture, guide engineering execution, and help build a secure, scalable, and user-centered product across both mobile applications and web platforms. You will have ownership of technical direction, ranging from mobile app architecture to backend integration, data models, security, and delivery quality. Your tasks will include system design, hands-on development, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with product and design teams. Key Responsibilities: - Define and own the overall technical architecture for Sparkle across mobile apps, web applications, backend services, and integrations - Lead end-to-end design and delivery of core modules such as authentication, profile management, health record vault, reminders, dashboards, permissions, and more - Build and guide a scalable architecture supporting consumer-facing mobile experiences and web-based workflows - Establish engineering standards for code quality, modularity, testing, documentation, and release readiness - Collaborate with stakeholders to convert requirements into technical plans and make technology decisions - Design secure systems for sensitive user and health-related information - Mentor software developers and drive performance, reliability, and maintainability across the platform What You Will Own: This role will lead architecture and delivery for mobile applications, web applications, backend services and APIs, authentication, storage, notifications, engineering standards, and technical roadmap. Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of professional software development experience - 1+ years in a technical lead, architect, or principal engineer role - Experience with web and mobile applications - Hands-on experience with mobile stacks like Flutter, React Native, native Android, or iOS - Strong web application development experience using React, Next.js, Angular, Vue, or similar - Backend engineering experience with Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, or similar - Understanding of API design, system architecture, data modeling, and cloud-based design - Familiarity with authentication, role-based access, secure session handling, and privacy-conscious development - Experience with CI/CD, testing strategies, release workflows, and engineering quality practices - Strong communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in healthtech, wellness, womens health, or family-focused apps - Familiarity with Firebase, AWS, GCP, or Azure - Experience with encrypted storage, audit logs, access governance, and permission-based sharing - Experience leading distributed teams or working in fast-moving product environments - Exposure to analytics, observability, feature flags, and product instrumentation - Strong product sense and ability to balance speed, usability, privacy, and maintainability Ideal Technical Background: A strong candidate will likely have experience with React / Next.js or equivalent for web development, backend services, and cloud infrastructure for scalable application delivery.
