Software Engineer (WordPress HTML)

As a Software Engineer specializing in WordPress HTML, your main role will involve developing and providing maintenance support for WordPress sites. You will be responsible for designing and building responsive, cross-browser compatible pages using WordPress, including localized versions of pages. Additionally, you will assist with helpdesk tickets and troubleshooting, optimize the page speed of WordPress sites, create and maintain documentation of development work, perform ongoing security patching, and collaborate closely with the members of the Web Team and internal customers. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and providing maintenance support for WordPress site - Designing and building responsive, cross-browser compatible pages using WordPress (including localized versions of pages) - Assisting with helpdesk tickets and troubleshooting as needed - Optimizing page speed of WordPress sites - Creating and maintaining the documentations of development work - Performing ongoing security patching - Working closely with the members of Web Team and internal customers Qualifications: - 5+ years of professional Front End Development experience - Experience developing pages in Wordpress - Strong understanding of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, PHP - Experience with cross-browser compatibility and responsive web design - Ability to create responsive web pages from design prototypes in Figma - Understanding of JSON, Lottie, Web Authentication, Bootstrap, React, Storybook, and Invision - Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work to deadlines - PHP and WordPress experience As a Software Engineer specializing in WordPress HTML, your main role will involve developing and providing maintenance support for WordPress sites.
