Software Development Engineer in Test(SDET)

Key Responsibilities: - Create and execute automated test suites - Develop new methods for testing UI components - Utilize the latest testing technologies to optimize software performance - Contribute to the creation of reliable software by pushing the limits of SDET - Prioritize customer satisfaction with a quality-driven approach - Implement end-to-end tests for frontend/backend applications - Work closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure high-quality software - Debug tests in different environments like Github Actions or Jenkins - Utilize programming languages like JavaScript and Typescript - Have a strong command of OOPS concepts - Familiarity with CI/CD practices and deployment automation tools like Github - Knowledge of performance Testing Tools such as Jmeter, K6, Loadrunner, Gatling - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills - Strong understanding of HTTP, its methods, authentication and authorization mechanisms, caching, cookies Qualifications Required: - 3-6 years of experience in automation testing - Passion for user experience and customer satisfaction - Familiarity with CI/CD practices and deployment automation tools - Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Typescript - Strong command of OOPS concepts - Experience with performance Testing Tools - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills - Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams - Understanding of HTTP, authentication mechanisms, caching, cookies Additional Details: Rocketlane offers a vibrant work culture that encourages impact, ownership, learning, and growth.
