Job Description
As an IT Services company based in Hyderabad, Karnataka, India, you are currently looking to hire a Full-time ServiceNow Developer/Administrator with a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 8 years of experience. The role involves working with the ServiceNow platform, specifically in areas such as Service/Project Management, SLA Management, Service Catalog, Customer Service Management, Workflows & Approvals. Additionally, troubleshooting Java Script Code, web applications, ITSM Implementations, and providing SaaS support are essential aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accurate representation of IT assets, configuration items (CIs), and their relationships.
- Integrate CMDB with discovery tools (e.g., ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM) to ensure automated and up-to-date population of configuration data.
- Define and enforce data standards for CI attributes, relationships, naming conventions, and lifecycle states to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with ITSM process owners (e.g., Incident, Change, Asset Management) to align CMDB data with service delivery processes.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliation to identify discrepancies between discovered data and the CMDB records.
- Manage CI lifecycle, including onboarding, status changes, and retirement, ensuring proper documentation and approval workflows.
- Develop CMDB dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to leadership and support teams.
- Provide support for audits and compliance initiatives by maintaining historical data and tracking changes to CIs.
- Train and support stakeholders on CMDB best practices, usage, and integration with ITSM modules.
- Drive improvements in data quality, governance, and automation related to configuration data.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience working with the ServiceNow platform, specifically in Service/Project Management, SLA Management, Service Catalog, Customer Service Management, Workflows & Approvals.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Java Script Code.
- Experience in troubleshooting web applications.
- Previous experience in ITSM Implementations.
- Experience providing SaaS support is desirable.
- 2+ years of ServiceNow Development/Admin Experience is mandatory.
