Senior Software Engineer II Java FSD

You will be part of a global organization, Optum, dedicated to delivering care and improving health outcomes through technology. Your work will involve implementing end-to-end features and user stories, designing, coding, testing, and debugging Java applications. **Key Responsibilities:**

• Implement end-to-end features and user stories following analysis, design, building, validation, deployment, and post-deployment support processes
• Design, code, test, and debug Java applications using best practices to ensure high performance, security, and maintainability

**Qualifications Required:**

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development using Java, React Js, Spring Boot, and event-driven frameworks like Kafka
• Solid knowledge of JAVA, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Rest APIs, Azure, Apache Kafka, and Streaming. Familiarity with AI Tools (MS Copilot), Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with cloud-native development (Azure, AWS, or GCP), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and working in Agile development teams
• Experience with relational databases, security principles, microservices architecture, RESTful API development, AI Builder, design and architectural patterns, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and leveraging AI tools for productivity enhancement
