Senior Software Engineer - BackEnd .Net

As a Senior Software Engineer (.Net core backend) at Eurofins Scientific, you will be a part of an international life sciences company that provides a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and support Cloud applications and solutions based on business requirements.
• Maintain, modify, optimize, and extend existing solutions for support and performance optimization projects.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure high quality of delivered solutions.
• Implement good practices and high-quality standards in software development.
• Work with Software Architect(s) and technical groups within Eurofins on design, documentation, prototyping, and validation.
• Design and work with n-tier architecture solutions.
• Develop Cloud-native applications using .NET 6/7 stack and Docker stack on Azure or AWS.
• Conduct unit testing, test automation, and test-driven development on all levels.
• Have a strong understanding of relational databases (MS SQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Apply object-oriented programming and design principles in software development.
• Follow software implementation best practices such as AGILE Development (Scrum) and ensure attention to deadlines, details, and quality.

Qualifications Required:

• 2+ years of experience in developing end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Stack of Technologies. Knowledge of Java or other technologies is a bonus.
• Good understanding of software design and architecture principles.
• Experience in test automation, test-driven development, and working with n-tier architecture solutions.
• Strong knowledge of server-side development on a .NET 6/7 stack, relational databases, and Cloud-native applications.
• Comfortable with unit testing, mocking for .NET, and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with AGILE Development (Scrum) practices.
