Role Overview:
You will be leading multiple engineering teams and managers to build highquality enterprise software products, primarily in the database performance and observability domain. As a Senior Engineering Manager, your role will involve collaborating with global functions, providing technical leadership, and ensuring successful execution throughout the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering teams in delivering enterprisegrade software products focused on database and performance monitoring
- Manage engineering managers and multiple development teams
- Drive the design, development, and delivery of commercial software products in an enterprise environment
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to define roadmaps, priorities, and trade-offs
- Ensure strong engineering practices including CI/CD, automation, code review, and quality standards
- Provide technical leadership with hands-on expertise in .NET and SQL performance
- Represent engineering in customer discussions, field engagements, and executive reviews
- Promote agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and lead cross-functional initiatives across geographies and time zones
Qualifications Required:
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years in people management
- Experience leading managers and/or multiple engineering teams
- Strong background in C#/.NET and modern engineering practices
- Deep expertise in relational databases, SQL tuning, indexing, blocking/deadlocks, and performance optimization
- Ability to lead through influence and communicate effectively with senior leadership and customers
- Solid understanding of agile development and the endtoend enterprise SDLC
