Senior Software Developer (IC3)

Role Overview: As part of the Cloud Infrastructure Group at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you will have the opportunity to contribute to building and operating a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. The OCI team is dedicated to delivering top-notch cloud products that cater to the needs of customers facing significant challenges worldwide. You will be working in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team within the Cloud Platform organization, responsible for designing and building core services utilized by both internal and external customers. One of the primary focuses will be the Identity Control Plane team, handling CRUD API calls on various Identity-related entities globally while ensuring consistency and reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with software applications or operating systems - Provide technical leadership to other software developers - Specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet evolving needs Qualification Required: - 5+ years of distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment - Hands-on experience in building and operating highly-available, high-traffic web services - Proficiency in developing service-oriented architectures and RESTful web services - Strong development skills in Java - Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Terraform, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and CI/CD - Familiarity with scripting languages for automating tasks and command line tools Additional Company Details: The biggest challenges for the team revolve around ensuring reliability and performance, especially in scaling out systems to handle increased traffic demands.
