Senior Quality Engineer

As a Senior Quality Engineer at S&P Global Market Intelligence in Hyderabad, Telangana, you will play a key role in ensuring quality delivery of products by working in partnership with other Technology Functions and Business. The Quality Engineering team operates in an Agile environment, driving decisions independently and focusing on improving customer experience, revenue growth, and operations enablement through high-quality product development. Your contributions will involve building solutions to test applications across various platforms such as Web, Windows, Mobile, API, Salesforce add-ons, and Microsoft office add-ins. By implementing automation, robust test strategies, and best-in-class engineering practices, you will help reduce time to market and gain exposure to diverse technologies and cross-functional teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Design and develop automation/performance solutions meeting organization standards
• Create tools and frameworks with quality code for simplifying testing scenarios
• Develop test plans, cases, execute tests, and analyze/report results
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality business functionality
• Act as a test lead, assigning tasks and providing guidance to testing staff
• Review and approve project team work, ensuring best practices and schedules are maintained
• Focus on building efficient testing solutions for Web, Services/APIs, and Databases
• Participate in project meetings, scoping, reviews, and testing activities in an Agile environment
• Capture quality assurance data and metrics for insights and conclusions
• Estimate and analyze risks for quality delivery

**Qualifications Required:**

• 4-6 years of experience in software testing or development
• Proficiency in testing or automating Salesforce components/add-ons, Microsoft office add-ins
• Experience in programming languages such as Python, C#, Java
• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Appium for UI/Service/Data layers
• Understanding of SOAP, REST services, and SOA architecture
• Exposure to SQL, PL-SQL, RDBMS, and distributed source control systems like Git
• Familiarity with CI, DevOps, Agile methodology, and BDD practices
• Experience with cloud technologies, micro-services, containers, and testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Bachelor's or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems preferred
