Senior Python Developer

As a highly experienced Senior Python Developer, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Python, FastAPI, and Django. You will be responsible for building and optimizing RESTful APIs with high performance and low latency, working with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc. Additionally, you will integrate microservices, collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications on AWS / Azure / GCP, and lead technical design decisions in architecture discussions. Reviewing code, mentoring junior developers, enforcing best practices, troubleshooting, optimizing, and ensuring application reliability and security are also key responsibilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Product, and UI/UX. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, FastAPI, and Django. - Build and optimize RESTful APIs with high performance and low latency. - Work with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc. - Integrate microservices and ensure smooth communication between systems. - Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy applications on AWS / Azure / GCP. - Participate in architecture discussions and lead technical design decisions. - Review code, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices. - Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure application reliability and security. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Product, and UI/UX. Qualifications Required: - Python (Expert Level) - 10+ years of hands-on experience. - Strong experience in FastAPI and Django / Django REST Framework (DRF). - Excellent understanding of REST API development, microservices, and asynchronous programming. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms AWS / Azure / GCP. - Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases. - Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git. - Strong knowledge of unit testing and application security practices.
