Senior Network Security Engineer

As a Senior Network Security Engineer at TaskUs, you will play a crucial role in providing operational support for the global TaskUs Network environment. Your responsibilities will include designing and enforcing SaaS security policies, providing support for network setup integration, completing preventative maintenance activities, managing projects, responding to inquiries, ensuring security and audit compliance, and more. Your technical skills in networking technologies, Cisco networking technologies, wireless technologies, and firewalls will be put to use in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design and enforce SaaS security policies using Enterprise Browser solutions such as Island or Palo Alto Prisma Browser to prevent data leakage and ensure compliance. - Provide support to Project or Demand Managers based on requirements to integrate a network setup. - Complete Preventative Maintenance activities, such as code updates & equipment updates. - Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management & Capacity Management. - Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives. - Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support. - Security & Audit compliance. - Operational-related Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACD). - Adherence to Operational Standards. - Compliance with Engineering Design Standards and established operational processes. - Participate in the Development & Maintenance of operational documentation, to include updating Engineering documentation changes due to operational changes, escalation procedures & vendor contracts. - Provide Root Cause Analysis for Network Events. - Other duties as assigned by management. Technical Skills: - Networking Technologies: DNS, DHCP, VPN, Network Security, IP Routing Protocols. - Cisco Networking Technologies: Routing & Switching, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). - Cisco Wireless. - Meraki Wireless. - Palo Alto Firewalls. - Enterprise Browsers (Island or Prisma). Job Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 5-7 years extensive experience in the support of Cisco Networking Technologies. - Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills required. - Current PCNSA certification. - Practical Technical knowledge on Palo Alto Networking Technologies. - ITIL Ver. 3.0 or Ver. 4.0 preferred. - Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms to technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment. - High-level technology problem-solving skills. - Ability to stand and sit for sustained periods of time, at least 25%. - Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Education / Certifications: - Bachelors degree in MIS/Computer Science and/or relevant experience.
