Senior .Net Software Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience in .NET, you will be responsible for owning requirements and defect fixes with minimal supervision. You will analyze requirements, propose solutions, and identify technical risks. Your role will involve creating effort estimations, discussing software design with the Lead, and following defined software development processes. You will need to be proactive in status reporting, risk identification, and be versatile in context switching between different requirements. Effective and respectful communication with team members, juniors, and seniors is key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Own requirement and defect fixes with minimal supervision - Analyze requirements, propose solutions, and identify technical risks - Create effort estimations and discuss software design with the Lead - Follow defined software development processes - Be proactive in status reporting and risk identification - Context switch between different requirements - Communicate effectively and respectfully with team members, juniors, and seniors Qualifications Required: - 6 years of hands-on experience with object-oriented programming - Familiarity with OOAD and UML for high-level and low-level software design - Experience with .NET Framework/.NET Standard/.NET Core/C# - Hands-on experience with version control systems such as SVN, ClearCase, Git, etc. - Knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns - Good analytical and requirement analysis skills - Experience in desktop applications development using WinForms or WPF - Familiarity with estimation techniques and software engineering lifecycle - Understanding of branching and tagging labeling processes in a version control system - Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit, XUnit, etc. Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience in .NET, you will be responsible for owning requirements and defect fixes with minimal supervision.
