Job Description

As a cybersecurity specialist at Prym Shared Services, you will play a crucial role in building and managing a cybersecurity unit while adhering to ISO27000 standards for information security management. Your focus will be on governance and management, rather than solely technical controls, with a continuous improvement mindset and strong risk management skills required to navigate an international environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor security alerts, analyze and mitigate threats to safeguard systems and data - Respond to security incidents, escalate timely, and ensure closure - Utilize auditing standards and frameworks like MITRE Att&ck & Detection Lifecycle Management - Demonstrate incident response skills including PCAP Capture, Network Analysis, and Traffic Patterns - Identify attacks and malware, analyze event data, and deploy rules for Microsoft Defender - Utilize open-source network analysis and intelligence tools - Apply knowledge of Cyber Kill-Chain and security architectures - Provide basic forensics support during security incidents - Assist in developing and implementing security policies and best practices - Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures - Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices **Qualifications:** - Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Cyber Security, or related field - Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or GIAC preferred - Experience: Previous cybersecurity operations or incident response experience desirable **Desired Skills:** - Technical Proficiency in security technologies, network protocols, and operating systems - Analytical Skills to identify trends and potential threats - Communication Skills to convey security issues effectively - Problem-Solving Skills to address and mitigate security incidents In this role, your primary purpose will be to monitor operational controls, implement and manage security controls to protect PRYM from cyber-attacks. You will manage security monitoring systems, identify emerging threats, and analyze security information to prevent incidents and data loss. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing cyber security incidents, including remediation and closure.
