Senior Full-Stack .NET Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Navitas, you will be part of a company that sits at the intersection of FinTech and Healthcare, dedicated to simplifying healthcare payment integrity and adding value for health insurers, healthcare providers, and consumers. Your role will involve using AI agents daily to efficiently handle migrations, refactors, and test coverage tasks, ensuring quality remains high. You will work on modernization projects at a pace that impresses, utilizing AI agents like Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex to streamline framework upgrades, refactors, API extraction, and more. Key Responsibilities: - Ship modernization work at a pace that surprises others. - Utilize AI agents to accelerate framework upgrades, refactors, API extraction, and more while maintaining quality standards. - Develop reusable playbooks for the team to follow, including templates, instructions, checklists, and review standards for AI-assisted changes. - Improve measurable outcomes such as increased modules migrated per sprint and faster PR turnarounds without a rise in production bugs. - Enhance the .NET + SQL Server stack, addressing architecture boundaries and resolving long-standing performance issues. - Dive into SQL Server tasks like query performance, indexing, and transactional correctness, and contribute to building necessary data pipelines. - Implement quality guardrails, automated tests, CI practices, structured logging, and observability measures to ensure real-time insights. - Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and fellow engineers to translate business challenges into effective software solutions. - Assist in creating delivery plans that prioritize pragmatic milestones and ensure features are shipped confidently. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in building and deploying production systems with a focus on C# and modern .NET technologies. - Proficiency in SQL Server including schema design, query optimization, and troubleshooting performance issues. - Cloud experience with Azure and/or AWS, along with expertise in API design and service-oriented architectures. - Familiarity with AI coding tools, .NET modernization, Azure patterns, distributed systems tooling, and front-end technologies like Angular and React/Next.js. - Background in regulated domains such as healthcare, fintech, or payments industry. - Ability to establish agent-friendly engineering practices and contribute to the progressive delivery toolkit.
