Senior Engineer - Network Security

As part of a fast-moving industry and company, there will always be opportunities for learning and growth. **Key Responsibilities:** - Experience in supporting and troubleshooting perimeter security platforms such as Zscaler ZIA and Symantec Bluecoat web gateway - Good knowledge of supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cisco ASA/Firepower/FTD, Cisco ISE, and Juniper SRX in complex enterprise environments - Proficiency in supporting F5 LTM, ASM, WAF, and GTM - Strong knowledge and experience in VPN technologies from Cisco and Zscaler ZPA - Management of Compliance management tools like Firemon, Skybox, and Algosec - Familiarity with routing and switching protocols - Command over scripting languages like Python, PHP, and exposure to StackStorm - Certification in F5 Big-IP LTM, GTM, and ASM modules - Proficiency in Analytics technologies such as Elasticsearch, PowerBI, and JSON - Cisco Security and Juniper SRX certification - Knowledge of AlgoSec, Firemon, and Skybox - Experience or training in the ITIL Services Framework - Support for Splunk Log search head and running queries - Familiarity with the Mitre framework **Qualifications Required:** - Five plus years of full-time professional experience in the Network Security field - Excellent time management, reporting, and communication skills - 4-6 years of experience in a technical support environment with Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, BlueCoat, Zscaler, and F5 security products - Proficiency in Zscaler, Cisco Umbrella & Forcepoint - Availability during US working hours (5PM (IST) to 3AM (IST)) - Work from Office role In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, Optiv is committed to championing Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion through Employee Resource Groups.
