Job Description
As a Senior Enterprise Software Engineer at Wolters Kluwer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering team and contributing to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the enterprise cloud platform. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting architecture for complex applications to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring applications hosted on AKS, EKS, and ECS.
- Conducting work activities using SRE principles such as resilience, metrics, capacity planning, incident management, and security.
- Managing cloud infrastructure and services across AWS and Azure.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across India and the US.
- Communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Implementing and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Developing scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensuring software and platforms comply with security standards and regulations.
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Continuously improving systems, processes, and methodologies.
- Participating in project planning and execution.
- Understanding customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Engaging with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine requirements.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable and high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications and Experience required for this role:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 12 to 18 months of experience in supporting and working with products hosted in ASF.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) management.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or GO Lang) for automation tasks and infrastructure management.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the DevSecOps engineering discipline.
- Experience with Application and Infrastructure Operations.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices, including creating and managing pipelines.
- Comprehensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding about Observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Understanding about Cloud Native way of working and Software Engineering Principals.
- Experience on .net/java programming framework will be an added advantage.

This role may involve minimal domestic travel and is based in a normal professional office environment.
