Job Description

As a Senior Enterprise Software Engineer at Wolters Kluwer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering team and contributing to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the enterprise cloud platform. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting architecture for complex applications to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring applications hosted on AKS, EKS, and ECS.
  • Conducting work activities using SRE principles such as resilience, metrics, capacity planning, incident management, and security.
  • Managing cloud infrastructure and services across AWS and Azure.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across India and the US.
  • Communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Implementing and managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Developing scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring software and platforms comply with security standards and regulations.
  • Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Continuously improving systems, processes, and methodologies.
  • Participating in project planning and execution.
  • Understanding customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine requirements.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience required for this role:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 12 to 18 months of experience in supporting and working with products hosted in ASF.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or GO Lang) for automation tasks and infrastructure management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the DevSecOps engineering discipline.
  • Experience with Application and Infrastructure Operations.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices, including creating and managing pipelines.
  • Comprehensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding about Observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
  • Understanding about Cloud Native way of working and Software Engineering Principals.
  • Experience on .net/java programming framework will be an added advantage.

This role may involve minimal domestic travel and is based in a normal professional office environment.
