Job Description
As a Senior Data Management Analyst at Wells Fargo, your role will involve leading or participating in moderately complex programs and initiatives related to data quality, governance, and metadata activities. You will design and conduct analysis to identify and remediate data quality issues, data integrity gaps, and process/control issues. Testing data controls and systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met will also be a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, assess, and test data controls and systems for quality and risk compliance
- Identify data quality metrics and conduct data quality audits
- Develop recommendations to resolve data quality issues
- Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff
- Drive planning and coordination for remediation efforts
- Consult with clients to assess data and metadata quality
- Participate in cross-functional groups to develop data governance strategies
- Provide input into communication routines with stakeholders and business partners
Qualifications Required:
- 4+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, Microsoft Fabric, Dev-Ops, and cloud-based data management
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric components like One Lake, Data Engineering, and Power BI integration
- Experience in supporting Human Resources Data applications and their development teams
- Proficiency in source control & versioning, monitoring & logging, and database/application access control processes
In this role, you will lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology, contribute to large-scale data processing framework initiatives, and build and maintain highly available data pipelines for deeper analysis and reporting. You will oversee data integration work, resolve complex issues, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve strategic goals.
