Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sr. Business Development Associate at Narayan Powertech Private Limited / Standex Electronics, your primary responsibility will be to accelerate profitable growth by expanding the company's footprint into new geographies globally. This role involves a combination of market development strategies and hands-on execution to drive revenue and establish repeatable processes. Key Responsibilities: - Drive geographic expansion by assessing priority regions, developing market-entry hypotheses, and defining customer and channel strategies. - Develop and maintain a pipeline of growth opportunities including new end markets, accounts, channel partners, and adjacent offerings. - Lead structured customer discovery by planning interviews, synthesizing insights, and translating learnings into actionable go-to-market strategies. - Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Product/Engineering teams to craft proposals, pricing logic, and launch plans for new regions. - Build business cases, track performance metrics, and prepare executive-ready materials for leadership review. - Assist in screening and diligence for potential Mergers & Acquisitions targets, contributing to integration planning and execution post-close. - Contribute to integration efforts by developing Day 1/first 100-days plans, coordinating cross-functional workstreams, and establishing repeatable playbooks for future growth initiatives. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus. - 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or commercial analytics. - Strong analytical skills including market sizing, unit economics, ROI analysis, and basic valuation concepts. - Experience in supporting market entry or geographic expansion in industrial, electrical, grid, power, or engineered products environments. - Exposure to M&A diligence and integration processes as well as working with channel partners and indirect sales models.
