Senior AI Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist at Intuit India, you will be part of the AI team responsible for developing innovative technologies that revolutionize our current product offerings. You will have the opportunity to work with the financial data of over 100 million consumers and small businesses, contributing to applications across various business lines like personal finance, small business accounting, and tax. Key Responsibilities: - Perform hands-on data analysis and modeling using large datasets. - Utilize data mining, NLP, and machine learning techniques to enhance relevance and personalization algorithms. - Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and designers to design experiments and minimum viable products. - Identify and access relevant data sources, clean and prepare the data for modeling, and create model-ready datasets through ETL processes. - Develop and refine features from the data to optimize model performance. - Conduct regular A/B tests, analyze results, and communicate findings to peers and leaders. - Stay updated on new design and technology trends to align with customer benefits. Qualifications: - MS or PhD in a technology field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or Operations Research. - 2+ years of data science experience for PhD holders and 5+ years for Masters degree holders. - Proficiency in advanced analytical tools and programming languages like R or Python with scikit-learn. - Strong skills in SQL, Hive, or SparkSQL. - Experience working in a Linux environment. - Familiarity with data mining algorithms and statistical modeling techniques such as clustering, classification, regression, decision trees, neural networks, and more. - Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences. Preferred Additional Experience: - Apache Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, Java, HP Vertica, TensorFlow, reinforcement learning, and other Machine Learning topics. - Knowledge of Ensemble Methods, Deep Learning, and other advanced methodologies. - Exposure to GenAI and other LLM and DL methods.
