Security Automation Platform Lead

**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** As a member of TMUS Global Solutions, you will lead, hire, mentor, and develop engineering and SRE teams supporting cybersecurity automation platforms. You will be responsible for owning delivery and operational outcomes for security products and services, ensuring reliability, performance, and security. Partnering with Principal Engineers and Architects, you will translate technical strategy into executable roadmaps and drive the adoption of automation-first and reliability-first practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead, hire, mentor, and develop engineering and SRE teams supporting cybersecurity automation platforms. - Own delivery and operational outcomes for security products and services, including reliability, performance, and security. - Partner with Principal Engineers and Architects to translate technical strategy into executable roadmaps. - Drive adoption of automation-first and reliability-first practices, including CI/CD, IaC, and SRE disciplines. - Establish and govern DevOps and SRE practices, including SLOs, incident management, change management, and postmortems. - Oversee security architecture and design reviews, ensuring secure-by-design implementation across platforms. - Guide AI and ML usage within security automation, including governance, risk awareness, and compliance alignment. - Set and enforce cloud platform standards across AWS and Azure (architecture, IAM, cost, IaC). - Track and communicate delivery, reliability, and security KPIs with transparency and accountability. - Collaborate with product, cybersecurity, cloud, and compliance stakeholders to align engineering outcomes with business needs. - Foster a culture of engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, software engineering, or platform engineering roles. - 3+ years of people management experience, leading and scaling technical teams. - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. - Experience delivering and operating cloud-native, security-critical platforms. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains, including identity, development, DevOps, and automation. - Hands-on familiarity with AWS and / or Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code. - Experience managing SRE practices, including incident response, SLOs, and operational reviews. - Ability to balance technical depth, delivery accountability, people leadership, and stakeholder communication. - Robust communication skills to translate technical execution into clear business outcomes. **Additional Details:** TMUS Global Solutions is a world-class technology powerhouse that accelerates the companys global digital transformation.
