SASE Platform Architect

Role Overview: As a Technology Leader at our SASE Core Network Group R&D Centre in Bangalore, India, you will play a crucial role in architecting and developing a cutting-edge SASE solution. Your work will involve diving into the realms of microservices, distributed systems, networking, and scalable software design, impacting millions of users and organizations with your innovative approach. We are seeking a proactive and innovative engineer who is eager to revolutionize the industry. Key Responsibilities: - Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code and services that form part of our Core Network as a Service components. - Develop advanced services for cloud network solutions. - Maintain high-performing, scalable, and testable code. - Practice peer review and collaborative programming. - Collaborate with a diverse multicultural team in an agile environment. Qualifications: - BE/ME in CS/CE or a related field, with a minimum of 20+ years of software development experience. - Proficiency in C++, C, GO programming and debugging. - Experience in Unix/Linux systems, including user-space processes, kernel, socket programming, and inter-process communication. - Must have experience with networking technologies such as TCP/IP, IPsec, WireGuard, mTLS, OpenVPN, routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, and tunnelling. - Experience in next-gen firewalls, UTMs, or IDS/IPS. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate openly and transparently with the team. - Innovative thinking to foster original ideas. - Experience with architecture and design of distributed services, microservices, and scalable solutions is advantageous. - Experience in a cloud environment is a plus, including technologies like Kafka, Kubernetes, DigitalOcean, HashiCorps Vault, Nomad, and Consul. - Knowledge of NoSQL databases is advantageous. - DevOps mentality is highly valued.
