Role Overview:
AIM is a global community driving data-driven transformation across Citi in multiple functions to create actionable intelligence for business leaders. As a part of the Remediation & Remuneration COE team, you will be responsible for coordinating and prioritizing customer-facing remediation efforts in collaboration with various partner teams. Your role will involve analyzing customer remediation issues, conducting impact assessments, root cause analysis, audit support, and report generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage analysis of customer remediation issues in the retail consumer bank globally
- Execute comprehensive data remediation approach for customer issues resulting from policy gaps, self-identified issues, or through internal audit findings
- Identify the size of affected customers and the financial impact of the issues
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues using analytical methods
- Support audits by tracking implementation plans and providing necessary data evidence
- Generate business metrics and actionable insights using reporting tools
- Utilize tools and platforms such as SAS, SQL, RDBMS, Teradata, Unix, MS Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, Jira, Bitbucket, Sharepoint, Tableau, Cognos, and have exposure to Big data and Python
- Demonstrate domain skills in banking and consumer products, including retail banking, deposits, loans, wealth management, mortgages, insurance, and knowledge of finance regulations
- Possess analytical and interpersonal skills to solve complex business problems, data analysis, profiling, and management, MIS reporting, and communication skills
- Develop automated techniques to enhance optimization and identify control gaps with recommendations based on data strategy
- Preferably have exposure to risk and control metrics and audit frameworks
Qualification Required:
- Masters or Advanced Degree in Information Technology, Computer Applications, Engineering, or MBA from a premier institute
- 2-5 years of overall experience with at least 1 year in the banking industry delivering data solutions
