Salesforce CPQ Specialist - Software Engineering

<p>We are seeking a Senior Salesforce CPQ Configurator to lead the functional design and implementation of our QuotetoCash environment You will be the primary architect of our product catalog pricing structures and quoting logic The ideal candidate has an expertlevel understanding of the Salesforce CPQ Data Model and can build sophisticated scalable solutions using advanced configuration rather than custom code</p>

<p>Core Responsibilities</p>

<p>1 Advanced CPQ Architecture</p>

<p>Product Modeling Design and maintain complex Product Bundles including nested bundles dynamic options and configuration attributes</p>

<p>Pricing Logic Build and optimize Price Rules Discount Schedules and Summary Variables to automate complex pricing requirements eg volume pricing tiered discounts or multicurrency</p>

<p>Guided Selling Create and manage Product Selection Rules and Guided Selling prompts to ensure sales reps are quoting the right products every time</p>

<p>2 Process Automation Output</p>

<p>Flow Workflow Utilize Salesforce Flow to automate CPQadjacent processes such as Opportunity syncing Contract generation and Renewal automation</p>

<p>Document Generation Design and maintain professional Quote Templates using the CPQ Template content sections and XSLFO styling</p>

<p>Approvals Implement and manage Advanced Approvals including parallel paths smart approvals and complex approval chains</p>

<p>3 Advanced Data Loading</p>

<p>Relational Data Migration Perform complex data loads of CPQ configuration objects which require maintaining strict ParentChild relationships using Data Loader or Salesforce Inspector</p>

<p>Data Transformation Use Excel or Google Sheets VLOOKUPs Pivot Tables to clean and format pricing and product data before importing it into Salesforce</p>

<p>Extraction Reporting Export quote and lineitem data to assist the Finance team with audit requests and sales performance analysis</p>

<p>4 Strategic Leadership</p>

<p>Solution Design Translate business requirements into technical blueprints that prioritize configurationfirst over custom Apex</p>

<p>Data Governance Manage the migration of CPQ configuration data Price Rules Products Features across environments using data migration tools</p>

<p>Best Practices Audit the existing CPQ instance to reduce technical debt and improve calculation performance</p>

<p>Qualifications</p>

<p>Required Qualifications</p>

<p>Experience 5 years of Salesforce experience with 2 years dedicated to Salesforce CPQ configuration</p>

<p>Logic Mastery Deep understanding of the CPQ Calculation Sequence the Price Waterfall and how it interacts with the quote line editor</p>

<p>Analytical Skills Expertlevel ability to troubleshoot complex pricing discrepancies and product validation errors</p>

<p>Flow Automation Design sophisticated declarative solutions using Salesforce Flows to complement programmatic development</p>
