Research Analysts - Taxation, business and finance research, Insurance

As a Research Analyst focusing on taxation, business, finance, and insurance at a data intelligence company in the UK, your role will involve conducting secondary research, tracking news updates, interpreting taxation policies globally, supporting the non-life insurance team in communicating market developments, managing the client's source database, extracting data from reports, and standardizing templates. You will need strong spreadsheet skills, including Power BI and Power Query, to monitor regulatory and market updates efficiently. Additionally, you will collaborate with the team lead to enhance client offerings and contribute to daily tasks and non-life projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting secondary research and summarizing relevant news updates
• Interpreting taxation policies and regulatory changes globally
• Managing the client's source database for monitoring regulatory developments
• Extracting and standardizing data from reports using spreadsheet skills
• Collaborating with the team lead to improve client offerings and update the global insurance industry on regulatory developments

Qualifications Required:

• Experience in conducting research and summarizing information
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills
• Ability to search and research global news, including tax changes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Graduate or post-graduate in finance, insurance, banking, or related fields
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in non-life insurance
• Good communication skills and ability to work UK shifts from India
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, SQL
• Familiarity with tools and technology for data extraction and analysis
