Python Test Engineer

Role Overview: You are being sought after to fill the position of a Python Test Automation Engineer at AppGlide, a growth partner for fast-growing software product companies worldwide. In this role, you will be an integral part of the customer's solutions engineering team, collaborating closely with customers to deploy solutions across global customer deployments. Key Responsibilities: - Be a test expert on the customer's operational analytics solution for networks, applications & security workflows. - Take a hands-on role in the testing/automation of the product to meet customer requirements. - Collaborate with the engineering team and integration teams on deployments. - Own design, development & test execution plans for POC, and lead to the completion of deployment. - Improve the product features and quality through enhancement proposals and customer reviews. Qualifications Required: - 1+ years of experience in user deployment testing. - 1+ years of experience in Python/ PyTest framework. - Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science / Information Technology. - Experience in Python is a plus. - Exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. - Understanding of how QA fits into the System Development Lifecycle. - Ability to create and maintain documentation/work associated with QA work, including Bugs, Tasks, feature files, and Basic Scripts. - Solid understanding and ability to demonstrate through daily tasks the architecture, design, and data flow of the application supported for effective script design. - Ability to read, develop, debug, and maintain simple to advanced automation test scripts independently. - Ability to troubleshoot the application and/or Automation to resolve failed script situations using the appropriate process.
